Whitewater Rafting - New River Gorge, WV - April, 2009
A dozen or so Hokies headed to WV, for a whitewater rafting over night trip on the New River. On day one, the group paddled the upper New in funyaks, then camped on the river banks with a nice campfire. On the second day, they took on a bunch of class III-IV rapids like pros, ending at the world famous New River gorge bridge.
